There are numerous space saver furniture already release on the market. But this one is quite fit for the many condominium in the Philippines nowadays. Latvia-based designer Rolands Landsbergs of Boxetti has created an ultra-compact furniture set that contains everything you need in your condo bedroom or condo unit.

Landsbergs called it “Bedroom in a Box”. It consist of a series of modules that are capable of transforming into a range of condo unit furnishings including a bed, a desk, storage cupboards and even a wardrobe. Once they have been used, each module can easily be pushed back into the box and hidden out of sight. This is a great way to have a party in the condo unit since it will create more space. The minimalist design blends into most environments and would be ideal for condo units with limited space.

With the proliferation of Massage Parlors here in the Philippines perhaps a niche idea to enter the Massage service market is Dog Massage. Science has shown that petting a dog releases a hormone called oxytocin in both the dog and the petter, which makes everyone feel better. Oxytocin, called the “love hormone”, is the naturally occurring chemical in the body responsible for bonding between mother and baby in humans.

Do you know what feels better than just feeling good? Getting paid for it. A woman in North Fort Meyers, Florida hoping to capitalize on the good feelings has started a dog massage business. In many upscale places here in the Philippines with many dog lovers, I think this will hit here. What do you think? Leave your comments below.

The Filipino OFW’s is quite a big market and this idea might click here in the Philippines. With so many reasons why a loved one may not be nearby to read a bedtime story to a child, a company the U.S. is making it easier for there love ones to reconnect in a special way. Be There Bedtime Stories was founded by Alison Sansone, a dedicated aunt. She wanted a fun way to keep in contact with her nieces, so she did a little digging and came up with a fun bedtime story business that would allow anyone with a webcam and Internet access say goodnight to the kids they love.

According to a report in The Orange County Register, they have partnered with Blue Star Families to bring bedtime stories from moms and dads serving in the American military to their children back home. She originally thought about putting recording kiosks in big stores like Costco and Target in the States and creating DVDs that could be mailed. But technology such as Skype and Videochat have become so widespread that Sansone adjusted her business model to allow people to record their stories using their own webcams, the Internet and a easy-to-use website.

The site has more than 200 children’s e-books from six publishers and a recording starts at $9.99.
“We’re giving free stories to Blue Star Families (a military support organization), and we’ve donated a supply of web cams to them to give to families here so the kids can read stories for their soldier parent to watch,” Sansone.

Sansone said, “Soldiers are moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles first. They are also our friends and neighbors. A webcam recorded bedtime story can connect them with their family in a powerful way, boosting their morale by letting them take off their helmet and put on their family hat for a while.” For the Philippines its perfectly fit for long distance parents working abroad while there children are in the Philippines.

A Startup advertising firm in the U.S. called Adzookie has latched on to a high-profile way to publicize itself: by turning homes into massive billboards.

They are looking for houses to paint. In fact, paint is an understatement. They are looking for homes to turn into billboards. In exchange, They will pay your mortgage every month for as long as your house remains painted.

Here are a few things we’re looking for. You must own your home. It cannot be rented or leased. We’ll paint the entire outside of the house, minus the roof, the windows and any awnings. Painting will take approximately 3 – 5 days. Your house must remain painted for at least three months and may be extended up to a year. If, for any reason, you decide to cancel after three months or if we cancel the agreement with you, we’ll repaint your house back to the original colors.

If you’re prepared for the bright colors and stares from neighbors just complete the submission form below. We review every submission. If your home meets our criteria, an Adzookie team member will contact you. This is a nice idea for existing and new advertising firms in the Philippines.

Here is a niche negosyo idea for pregnant woman. Why spend a fortune for a dress you only intend to wear for a few months while you’re pregnant? Rather than buy and hang onto various dresses or maternity outfits one website has pregnant women considering rentals instead reports stylestoday.

It’s rare that most women of normal-size get more than a few wears out of a cocktail dress, so the likelihood that you’ll wear a maternity cocktail dress again is far-fetched.

A new web-based company has a solution. The name says it all, Rentmaternitywear.com, The company was founded by “mompreneur” Marcelle Costello.

Dresses range from $35 to $70, and more than half of RentMaternityWear.com’s styles rent for less than $40. Typical prices break down like this: $35 for one week, $50 for two weeks and $60 for one week with a guaranteed that the dress is brand new or only rented once.

Have you notice Pizza Parlor and delivery are prolifirating in the Philippines right now? We may wonder, Why is the pizza the only food you can get delivered? What’s the history of pizza delivery?

According to PizzaDelivery.com, in 1889, King Umberto and Queen Margherita had the privilege of getting the first known pizza delivered by Raffaele Esposito, the most famous Pizzaaiolo (pizza chef) in Naples, Italy. In honor of the Queen, Raffaele made the pizza into the colors of the Italian flag: red tomatoes, green basil, and white mozzarella cheese. This later would become the basis for our American Neapolitan pizza.

Pizza delivery really took off after World War II when many soldiers returning from Italy brought back an appetite for the tasty dish. Because pizzas are easily transported in paper boxes, they were the perfect food to be delivered.

Dominos Pizza has been delivering pizza since their founding in 1960. Companies like the Dine-in Delivery business opportunity have expanded the concept and offer delivery from many different local restaurants.

When a child is too sick to go to day care or school, working parents often have little choice but to stay home and miss work themselves. A new business in Kennewick, Washington in the U.S.A., however, where a company offers bed rest and supervised nursing care for kids with low-level but contagious illnesses, a story from Springwise.

Chicken Soup + Nursing is a 20-bed facility aimed at kids up to 12 years old with fever, conjunctivitis, rashes or other problems that prevent their going to school. In a setting much like a hospital ward, children are evaluated by a doctor or nurse practitioner, and typically placed on varying degrees of bed rest (with a safe distance between beds).

Their vitals are taken at routine intervals by certified staff. If they are found to require medication, those drugs are ordered from a pharmacy, picked up and administered as directed. Kids can bring toys, books, handheld games and movies along with a packed lunch or baby food, if appropriate.

Chicken Soup + Nursing provides snacks and fluids, along with updates to parents throughout the day. Chicken Soup + Nursing is planning to become a 24/7 operation and to enable remote viewing of patients for parents at work.

This is great negosyo idea to those who have interest in opening a business for kids in the Philippines. Be the first to offer daytime care for mildly sick kids in your neighborhood.

Check this out a recycled carton made into a feeding chair for children. Not just eco friendly but very ingenious. Springwise reports of a new kid on the flat-pack furniture block, offering a portable high chair solution. Made from recycled cardboard, the Feedaway from Melbourne-based Belkiz is an easy-to-assemble, lightweight version of the traditional feeding chair. It’s designed to be used away from home, wherever baby or toddler feeding chairs aren’t available, and otherwise folded away.

Designed for infants aged up to 20 months or weighing up to 20 kilograms, the Feedaway comes with a three-point safety harness. Its non-toxic food-grade coating can be cleaned with a wet cloth. It weighs approximately one kilogram (2.2 lbs), and Belkiz claims it will last for around 30 assemblies. After that, it’s 100% recyclable.

Retailing for AUD 39.95, the Feedaway is a convenient piece of ‘take away’ toddler furniture and should fold nicely into the increasingly mobile lifestyles of parents with an eye for eco-iconic design. Belkiz is currently seeking stockists for the Feedaway in Australia, and distributors in the US and EU.

Here is a report from The Jacksonville Business Journal of a teen entrepreneur who created a business out of horror house. Jordan Renda has always loved Halloween, not so much for the trick-or-treating, but for the opportunity to scare family, friends and now, complete strangers.

The 16-year-old Creekside High School junior and now Haunted Productions LLC president is experiencing his first year in the professional haunted house industry as the creator and owner of the Night Terrors Haunted House on San Jose Boulevard. While he admits it’s been a steep learning curve, he’s already making plans for the future.

“Deep down, I probably never actually thought it would happen,” Renda said, but “the ultimate goal is to make it a career.”

Here is a report from Jacksonville Business Journal of a teen entrepreneur who created a business out of horror house.
