THE 35th Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon) has officially kicked off at The Atrium, Limketkai Center, running from August 11 to 13. Hosted by the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (Oro Chamber) and organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the landmark summit brings Northern Mindanao’s trillion-peso economy into the spotlight.
A Historic Homecoming
This year marks a return to where it all began: the Oro Chamber hosted the inaugural MinBizCon in 1992, and this week marks its sixth time anchoring Mindanao’s largest annual gathering of business leaders, policymakers, and private-sector stakeholders.
Co-hosted by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDa), this year’s theme centers on “Accelerating Inclusive Growth for Business Through Innovation and Sustainability: Bridging the Gap, Scaling the Future.”

Daily Sessions: Running from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM throughout the three-day event.
Fintech Integration: Event sponsor GCash is featuring a dedicated session showcasing its GCash for Business solutions, facilitating direct onboarding for enterprise leaders driving the region’s digital transition.
Policy Impact: The conference serves as a platform for public-private collaboration to generate policy resolutions, which will be integrated into the PCCI’s national agenda and presented directly to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the Philippine Business Conference in October.

The summit is backed by key local government units across Northern Mindanao, including Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, and Iligan City.
